About John and the show
The Sunday Saloon is on every Sunday from 4pm to 5pm, featuring some classic and modern country music with up to date news from the Irish and Nashville country music scene.
About John Harrold...
I have lived all my life in the parish of Rockhill-Bruree and have been involved in community activities there for many years. I went to school in Killacolla and Charleville CBS and have spent all my working life at Murrays of Charleville. I am married to Kathleen. My interests include country music, GAA, history, reading, travel - and country music!
John talks about the Show...
The programme allows me to indulge my love of good country music. My preference is for American artists of the classic school but I also play a selection of my favourite Irish recordings. The programme features news from the world of country music as well as a weekly update of the best selling singles and albums stateside.
