Process 32 Art Exhibition (11:00 am)
Process 32 is the title of an exhibition organised by 3rd Year students of the Painting Department at Limerick School of Art and Design . The show will take place at Shannon Rowing Club, Sarsfield Bridge, Limerick from May 17th to May 19th, 2012.
3rd year painting student Hazel Restrick who is studying fine art at LSAD has invited all BCR listeners to the exhibition.It's free to view and will be open daily between 11am and 6pm.If you have any questions, please do not hesitate in contacting 086-0754424.

DUHALLOW BEALTAINE FESTIVAL 2012 (8:00 am - 9:00 am)
IRD. Duhallow's Saoi Network has organised a programme of events throughout the month of May celebrating creativity in older age in Duhallow.
There is an event almost every day in venues spread throughout the region. The following events have been organise in Freemount.
Saturday May 19, Set Céilí in the Freemount Community Centre Music by Tim Joe and Ann. The Willie Dunne weekend also takes place this weekend.
Sunday May 27 at 2.30pm. Freemount Thursday Club are holding an Afternoon Tea Dance in The Community Centre. Teas and home baking will be served.
On that day there will also be an Art Exhibition (by local Art Class) . This will also be in The Community Centre. Then on Thursday May 31 at 2pm. Freemount Thursday Club will also host an evening of Reminiscence in Cois Abhann.
Please feel free to bring a small "trigger", i.e. a photograph, an old tool, a utensil document or anything that brings back memories which you are willing to share with the group.

Macroom's Local Talent (10:00 am - 7:00 pm)
The best of Macroom's local talent will perform and entertain Residents and visitors of Macroom Hospital from 10am to 7pm on Saturday, May 19.
This is one of a number of events being held by the supporters of the Community Hospital to generate funds for the hospital.
Drop in for a chat and enjoy the entertainment provided free from an array of artists. Buckets will be provided for donations

Tea Day In Aid Of The Alzheimer's Society Of Ireland (11:00 am - 12:00 - noon)
Mairead Murphy and Una Lehane will be hosting a Tea Day in aid of the Alzheimer's Society of Ireland on Saturday, May 19, at 11am in the Lee Valley Café in Inchigeela.
Tea days are national days of celebration to honour the memories of people affected by Alzheimer's. Help make it a day to remember by attending on the day.
A raffle will be held on the day and all proceeds will help raise much needed funds for life-changing local Alzheimer's services in the area. An auction will be held for a signed Cork GAA jersey. Prizes range from a signed Munster jersey, several vouchers and lots of fun filled surprises on the day.

Courtbrack Vintage Society (10:30 am - 11:30 am)
Crazy about vintage? If so, then join Courtbrack Vintage Society on Sunday, May 20 for its Annual Vintage Tractor and Car Road Run.
There will be plenty of craic, vintage... and tea! Vehicles are assembling at Grenagh Courtbrack Community Hall at 10.30am. Entry fee €20. Proceeds will go towards Courtbrack Community Hall Renovation Fund. Everyone welcome!

Dromcollogher Mayfair/ Vintage Rally (1:30 pm - 2:30 pm)
The Dromcollogher Mayfair/ Vintage Rally In aid of the respite care centre takes place this weekend. As usual it promises to be a great day out for all the family with lots of stalls, games, food , live entertainment and more.
There will also be a monster vintage display and lots of side shows such as dog show, bouncing castle face painting, bric-a-brac stalls and lots more.
You can also enjoy a cup of tea and tasty treats and there will be a chipper and ice-cream van. The fun starts off at 1:30pm.A great day out for all the family while supporting the Respite Centre

Irish Chamber Orchestra Comes To Doneraile (8:00 pm - 9:00 pm)
Following a successful concert series in Limerick and Dublin, the Irish Chamber Orchestra is back on the road and will be visiting North Cork.
The orchestra will perform for the first time at the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Doneraile on Thursday, 24 May in association with theDoneraile Literary & Arts Festival. The concert will start at 8pm nad tickets can be bought on the night for €15 for adults and €5 for students. Tea and coffee will be available for free after the concert in the Community Hall.

GIY CHARLEVILLE LAUNCH (8:30 pm - 9:30 pm)
A new Grow it Yourself group is launching in Charleville on Thursday, 24thMay at 8.30pm in Geary’s (aka Gough’s) Bar, Main Street, Charleville with novices and old hands all welcome. GIY groups meet monthly to share their experiences in Gardening and beyond. This is a great chance to meet gardeners in your area, and learn more from other gardeners and expert speakers. GIY’s vision is for a healthier, more connected and more sustainable world where people grow their own food.
There are currently 100 GIY groups and approximately 12,000 GIYers involved. Meetings are free and open to people who are growing at all levels - from those who grow a few herbs in a window box to those who are completely self-sufficient.
